Dave Gorman is a Principal Broker and Certified Business Broker with Capital Business Advisors, where he has been advising business owners on exit strategy and transition planning throughout Indiana since 2004. With more than 30 years of experience in sales, business brokerage, and ownership, Dave brings seasoned financial insight, transaction expertise, and practical business judgment to every client engagement.
As a former business owner, Dave understands firsthand the complexities of building, operating, and ultimately selling a company. He appreciates the emotional and financial weight of that decision and is known for his straightforward communication style, market knowledge, and disciplined approach to achieving successful outcomes with professionalism and integrity.
Dave began his career with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance in 1995, where he quickly distinguished himself as the agency’s top sales representative. In 1999, he founded Union Trust Mortgage, building and managing a successful team of loan officers and administrative professionals as a highly regarded mortgage broker. He then began his career in Business Brokerage in 2004. His experience as an entrepreneur provides him with a deep understanding of financial structures, risk assessment, and operational management — expertise he now applies to guiding clients through complex mergers and acquisitions.
During his tenure at Capital Business Advisors, Dave has successfully led transactions across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, services, and professional services. Over more than 21 years, he has built a reputation for integrity, responsiveness, and strategic deal execution, earning the trust of business owners across Indiana.
